Are you tired of virtual learning?

As time progresses, we realize that it could be harder for some parents to maintain the virtual learning environment. You’re probably considering sending your child back to public school. However, due to overcrowding, you may have reservations. It’s important to know that you have options to ensure the safest environment for your child as a parent.

We have a solution!

At City Church Academy, we have taken the necessary precautions to ensure your child’s safety. Our number one priority is to lessen the chances of spread throughout our community and keep you and your family safe.

Larger Classroom Sizes | Fewer Students

We are confident that our students will thrive in our brand new education building and large spacious classrooms. With capacity limits in each classroom, overcrowding will be nonexistent at CCA. In addition, students can comfortably learn and maintain social distancing protocols while attending our academy.

Also, classrooms of smaller aged students have their own washrooms to avoid interaction with other students throughout the building. In addition, classrooms of smaller aged students have their own washrooms to avoid interaction with other students throughout the building

Clean Atmosphere

Masks are currently required to be worn for all school-age children. Masks are highly encouraged for children who attend our preschool programs.

Stationary Lunch Periods

Preschool Program:

For the safety of our students, their lunch periods are spent in their own classrooms to minimize travel throughout the school building. If they participate in our food program, our cafeteria staff bring the food to them. Our cooks have amazing best practices in maintaining a clean work environment at all times, avoiding the spread of germs.

Elementary Lunch

Our Elementary students will eat in a clean and sanitized cafeteria daily. Each grade level will follow social distancing protocols during their daily lunchtime.

Our kitchen and custodial staff go to great lengths to ensure the highest safety measures are performed daily. All cleaning products are commercial grade and EPA approved.

Genuine Family Environment

We understand that this could be a scary time for your children. That is why we take our classroom environment very seriously. Our teachers are there for the students, not only academically, but are remaining aware of their emotional well being. Our goal is to foster coping, resilience and overall wellness. But it doesn’t end with your child(ren). We want to make sure you as a parent feel supported and a part of the City Church Academy family. In addition, if you or your family need counseling, we are ready to connect you with pastoral staff that are able and willing to help you through this trying time.

Exposure Procedures

While we are taking the necessary precautions to avoid the spread of this disease, we are aware that anything can happen. That being said, an established procedure is ready to be executed in case any student has been exposed. This involves communicative process and implementation of POA (plan of action).
